Our vessels fully comply with the WCPFC measures to protect bycatch that are associated with longline fishery.

Monitoring & Transparency
Every Fiji longline vessels are subject to the regional requirement on manual and electronic reporting and placement of Observers from the Ministry of Fisheries.
At the same time, FFIA is awaiting the inclusion of Electronic Monitoring on our vessels to further strengthen compliance and data integrity.

Best Practice Protocols
We follow internationally endorsed operational standards to preserve fish quality and ecosystem health. Every fish caught is reported and verified through a government-controlled system, ensuring full traceability and regulatory compliance.
