FFIA is dedicated to strengthening the human resource capabilities of Fiji’s fishing industry through a variety of capacity-building initiatives. In partnership with regional bodies, NGOs, and government agencies, FFIA supports industry skill development programs, knowledge exchange initiatives, leadership training, and professional certification opportunities. These efforts, including joint partnership training programs and workforce development initiatives, are aimed at equipping industry personnel with the skills and knowledge needed to advance sustainable and responsible fishing practices.
